What you'll do
Provides general clerical support, including answering of telephones, for all departments of the Agency in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the Agency.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT Must have visual and hearing acuity. Must be able to communicate clearly verbally. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Must be able to perform fully assisted transfers, with or without transfer devices (if required for the position). Must not have any back lifting/moving restrictions. Must provide proof of automobile insurance upon hire and at each renewal and maintain a safe driving record. In compliance with applicable law, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities who are able to perform the essential functions of the position. What you'll do
Provides general clerical support, including answering of telephones, for all departments of the Agency in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the Agency.
- Answers all incoming calls and directs caller to appropriate party, voice mail
- Greets and directs visitors to appropriate offices.
- Responsible for distribution and preparation of in-coming and outgoing mail.
- Separates clinical notes and forwards them to filing and payroll departments as appropriate.
- Distributes incoming faxes.
- Closes office as required including transfer phones to on-call staff, run backup of data on mainframe, lock up patient files, lock doors, turn off coffee machine, copiers lights and air conditioning.
- Consistently displays a professional appearance and conduct in all settings. Interpersonal and inter-agency relationships are to be positive and professional at all times.
- Assumes responsibility and displays reliability for the completion of all tasks, duties, communications and actions.

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Type minimum of 55 wpm, including working knowledge of Microsoft Products
- Ability to coordinate multiple functions and appropriate phone etiquette.
- 1 year experience as Receptionist
- One year medical office experience preferred
