CAREGIVER / HOME CARE AIDE (HCA)

Location: Silver Lake, CA 90039

Pay: $19-$21 per hour

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide non-medical in-home care for an 80-year-old client in the Silver Lake area.

The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, reliable, and enjoys helping seniors maintain their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence at home.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene as needed.

Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.

Assist with walking, mobility, transfers, and positioning as appropriate.

Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.

Provide medication reminders.

Offer companionship, conversation, and engagement.

Monitor the client's well-being and report changes or concerns to the agency supervisor.

Follow the client's individualized care plan.

Complete required documentation and communicate with the care team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years old.

Previous caregiving experience preferred.

Must be compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and dependable.

Current TB clearance required.

Must communicate effectively in English.

Reliable transportation required.

Must successfully complete agency orientation and required training.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform routine caregiving duties.

Must be able to safely assist with mobility and transfers as required by the care plan.

Must be comfortable working independently in a client's home.
