Caregivers needed in Los Angeles - Culver City area

Home Care Aide (HCA)
Make a difference every day by helping seniors and adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. We're seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers to provide non-medical personal care and companionship to clients throughout our service area.

$19-21 per/hour

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
  • Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.
  • Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, linen changes, and household organization.
  • Provide medication reminders and assistance with self-administered medications.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, errands, and recreational activities.
  • Offer companionship, cognitive support, and respite care for clients with dementia.
  • Document services using the Agency's WellSky system.
  • Follow each client's individualized care plan and promptly report changes in condition to the Program Manager or Staffing Coordinator.
  • Complete annual continuing education and required training.
Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Previous caregiving experience in a home care or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Current TB clearance.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Successful completion of Agency orientation and pre-service training.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, climb stairs, and safely assist with client transfers, with or without transfer equipment.
  • Must be able to work in clients' homes and perform physical caregiving tasks without lifting restrictions.
