Receptionist & Medical Records Coordinator

Ventura, CA
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receptionist & Medical Records Coordinator to support front office operations and medical records management in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a multitasking environment and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

The hourly range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $22-27 however, pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. 


Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients, staff, and callers
  • Answer and route incoming calls; take accurate messages
  • Maintain and audit patient medical records for accuracy and compliance
  • Track physician orders, treatment plans, and visit schedules
  • Process medical records requests in accordance with privacy regulations
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail and distribute documents
  • Order and track office and medical supplies
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, interviews, and onboarding activities
  • Perform general administrative duties (filing, copying, data entry)
  • Support office opening/closing procedures as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of administrative or office experience (healthcare preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Work Environment
  • Primarily sedentary with some standing/walking
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs
