We are hiring a Medical Billing & Collections Specialist in our Thousand Oaks Branch.
The base hourly range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $25-30 per/hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.

What you will do:
Collect accounts receivable
Check medical claim status and file appeals
Performs secondary billing of co-pays and deductibles
Resolves accounts receivable issues and determines need for additional collection actions as necessary.
Consistently meets project and monthly deadlines as established.

Who you are:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, associate degree is preferred
Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word
Ability to multitask and problem solve
Excellent customer service
Collections, healthcare insurance, and accounts receivable experience are preferred
