What you will do:
  • Assist patient with personal hygiene, elimination, nutritional support / feeding, ambulation and exercise, and medication reminders according to the patient’s needs and RN assessment/assignment.
  • Provide care consistent with written instructions.
  • Provide support for and reinforce the team’s teaching of patient’s caregivers.
  • Perform other related supportive tasks as specified by Agency policy.
Who you are:
Successful completion of one of the following:
  • a training program and competency evaluation pursuant to Federal/State law;
  • a competency evaluation program pursuant to Federal /State law
  • a state approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation program pursuant to Federal/State law and is currently listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry;
  • a state licensure program pursuant to Federal/state law
  • NOTE: Aide must NOT have had a continuous 24 month gap in furnishing services for compensation since program completion.
  • DMV and criminal background check / OIG Exclusion list / National Sex Offender Registry / fingerprint card as appropriate. Current CPR, TB and health clearance 
  • Completed skills assessment
  • Successful passage (80%) of Agency competency exam and core competency checklist
  • Have the orientation and training appropriate to the care of the patient and his/her family
